text   We use two preferred butchers, the Island Grown Cooperative USDA Mobile Slaughter Unit based in Bow, WA, and Del Fox Meats, based in Stanwood, WA. Both provide excellent service. The butchers’ availability at the time we are ready to butcher will determine whom we use.     Due to different regulations on the two butchers, the method of billing will vary depending on which butcher we use. When we use the Island Grown Coop, the total cost will be paid to us. When we use Del Fox Meats, you will pay us a fee for the animal, and you will pay the butcher directly for the butchering.
