| Our livestock is guarded by three Maremma Guardian Dogs: Carmela, Solazzo, and Luca Brasi. Maremmas, a breed which originates in Italy, have been used as livestock guardians for centuries. By integrating into the herd at an early age, Maremmas, like all guardian dogs, form a strong bond with the flocks they protect.
